NAPP Battles 111 – 115

I’ve missed the past 4 battles due to various other activities… So today I decided to combine the images from Battles 111-115 all into one image which I’ve named “The Blue Fuzz Twins”…

The Blue Fuzz Twins are so happy that their parents got rid of that old junky car in their backyard… now they can sit at the table (w/ the odd spedometer tablecloth), eat grapes and try to figure out how to get their kite out of the palm tree…

Here are the starting Battle Images for weeks 111 – 115

This is the final image I came up with incorporating all of the images above…

Randomizer Battle

I’ve been a NAPP (National Association of Photoshop Professionals) member for many years now… one of the most fun aspects of NAPP are their forums and the various photoshop battles that take place…

One of the ongoing battles is the “Randomizer”…

Here is the general idea…

1. We take turns going to sxc.hu, clicking Randomizer, grabbing the first random image that pops up without restrictions, and the next person in order has to add the new random image to the previous person’s image.
2. Create whatever you want based on the random image using at least part of the previous person’s image.
3. Upload JPG to the board and send PSD to opponent.
4. The next opponent goes to sxc.hu to get next random image to incorporate into the images and posts that link to the board.
5. Rinse, repeat as necessary.
6. No time limit. No themes. No holds barred.
7. The usual Battle Ground Rules apply. (this is in regards to copyright etc..)

To see the MANY battle images visit the NAPP Randomizer Battle page… or better yet, join NAPP!

My turn just recently came up again… below is the previous image, the random image served to me and my new image. Click on them for larger images.

OK didn’t do much to this – just playing with lightening the red one…

It has been quite a while since I’ve worked on this. It has been sitting on my desktop but haven’t had a chance to work with it up until tonight… and now it is almost spring… though my cherry blossoms have yet to bloom and no butterflies yet…

The lower right butterfly is still MUCH darker than the others but haven’t quite figured out how to balance it yet… it is the victim of random playing with each…
