Photo a Day 10 Nov 2008

Only a few flowers left outside with the temperatures dropping to right around the freezing mark at night. Here is one of the last of the mums..

I also posted an image from our trip to the orchard on the 1st. It was the last weekend to pick apples at the orchard and we managed to get Cameo, Rome and Ida Reds. Love just eating the Cameos. This tree is a Rome. I thought it was interesting with the bulge at the bottom. Looks like it has been grafted.

Photo a Day

Back in January I made a New Year’s resolution to try to keep up with the photo-a-day on pBase… I didn’t make it too far… Figured I’d start trying again in hopes I can keep it up while Mike has to travel next year…

This is one of the last leaves on our weeping cherry tree out front. I love the colors these leaves turn.

Interesting observation from saving this in Photoshop CS4 – the Save for Web is supposed to give you options as to how much metadata you want left on the image – no mater what I chose, it stripped it all so apparently there is a bug there somewhere.

Desktop Buddy

This little guy has been hanging out at my desk all morning… He really is little despite how intimidating he might look in the macro shot… he’s lucky he wasn’t hanging out around my mom’s computer – he’d be squashed and flush…

While he was great entertainment, I decided he had to go outside when he decided to try spelunking down into my tea…

I love my little Canon SD800IS

Today after mass we went to get Jon a haircut before school starts Wednesday and then stopped at a local farm for some veggies and ice cream cones.

Afterwards I walked a bit around the farm and found this Thistle and Bumblebee.. All I had with me was my little PS Canon SD800IS but loved how the shot came out 🙂
