This is my son’s little Bonsai – he picked it out because the trunk of the plant looks like an anteater. He typically keeps it up in his bathroom but had it downstairs to draw it for his art class. I snapped the shot while it was down here. Still have the 50mm 1.4 on the camera…

Incidently, for those using Extensis’ Suitcase Fusion 2 for Windows, Extensis released an update that corrects the errors that occured with the corefoundation.dll between Suitcase and iTunes.

I noticed the last couple of days that I’ve taken photos that my sensor had various ‘ick’ on it… so spent the early afternoon cleaning my sensor and then took a couple shots with my 50mm f/1.4. This is just a pot of flowers on the deck that seem to be blooming profusely.

I bought this annual in the spring and it has been wonderful with blossoms through out the summer and even now as we are fully into fall… Most of the leaves are off the trees now and it has been hitting the 30s at night so I don’t expect these to hang around much longer…
