What a weird book… an alien from another world, Wanderer, is inserted into a human host, Melanie… and while the ‘parasitic’ alien is supposed to take over the human brain, Melanie stays put and actually conviences Wanderer to become human like her body…
On a deeper level the book explorers what it means to be human.
Completely aside, it is fun reading a book that takes place in an area that is familiar – in this case, where I grew up in Arizona…
