I thought I had read this book in school… my son who is in 8th grade is reading it now… however I think I was confusing it with “On Flew Over the Cookoo’s Nest” which I know we read… so I figured I’d read it… esp with Harper Lee being in the news lately against a novel that a neighbor has written about her life…
After finishing it I’m pretty sure I had never read this one before… It is a really great look at the south, racial tensions during the great depression. Atticus was definitely before his time… even for some people today…
